This is a post on my final review of the John Masters Organics Firming Eye Gel after using it for about 6 weeks or so. If you read my initial review I let on that you can instantly feel a tightening sensation from day one when applying this product and I continue to feel this sensation even now! I noticed after using this eye gel for about 3 weeks that my eyes appeared much bigger and brighter as some of the swelling in my eyelids began to go down.
I noticed it one day when I was glancing in the mirror and saw that something was definitely different about my eye area. It appeared more awoken and refreshed because the puffiness around my eyes tends to make me appear so dull and tired. This eye gel definitely helps when it comes to puffiness but does nothing for the discoloration around the eyes. So don’t go running out to buy this if you’re looking for something strictly for dark circles.
But to John Masters Organics defense the product description never once mentions that it helps with dark circles so I wouldn’t consider the fact that it doesn’t work for dark circles a flaw. You can read the product description in my initial review here, and you’ll see that it only states that it helps with puffiness in the eye area and I found that it really does.
But I also must say that I did not experience the kind of dramatic results that would put a plastic surgeon out of business but I did experience a significant reduction in my swelling and puffiness (at least enough to write home about).
The bottle is pretty small and petite weighing in at a mere .5 fl oz but a little truly goes a long way with this stuff. You only need half a pump for both eyes so this product can easily last someone 6 months. The pump applicator is pretty easy to use and offers decent control on how much you dispense, but pushing down on it all the way gives you a little more product than you need so I suggest just pushing the pump down half way to dispense just enough product.
With the results I experienced I was using it twice per day, once in the morning and once at night. The products instructions suggest that you may use it anytime throughout the day to hydrate and refresh your eye area so you are free to use it as many times and as much as you would like.
It comes in a glass bottle that would also be nice to place in the fridge to give your eye a nice cool treatment. I really liked that this gel helped with puffiness and swelling so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a product to help solely with this. But I’d also like you to keep in mind that although this is a eye gel it only works to firm your eye area and that its not an all in one solution to all your eye problems.
