Can you guys believe this is my first time trying out Argan oil? Like where have I been all this time? I’m super late jumping on the bandwagon of all things Argan oil but I feel like there’s always a newly discovered oil of the month that people are raving about that I never really get into (except coconut oil). I’m usually late trying out stuff that is super hyped because I’m always like could it really be all that great? But in this case it really is that great and I really love having this in my routine right now. It is super moisturizing and both my very dry skin and hair are very happy with it.
Kahina’s Giving Beauty 100% Organic Argan Oil ($36 30ml) is described as “Light and non-greasy, argan oil absorbs easily, instantly giving skin a radiant glow.”
This is a much thicker oil than my usual coconut oil which makes it that much better for my skin this winter. It is very moisturizing and worked the best at hydrating my skin after deep cleansing and exfoliating where it was much easier for it to penetrate my skin without any of my dead skin cells hanging around. This stuff leaves my skin feeling very soft, supple, and plump. This oil also appeared to really brighten my skin and make it appear nice and glowey since my skin is actually nicely moisturized for once!
This oil has no discernible scent and I absolutely love the dropper the glass bottle comes with because it helps me not use too much or waste any of the product. When I use it I use about 5-6 drops for my face and about 2-3 drops for my neck and chest area and this was enough to moisturize each area thoroughly for me. My hair also responded well to this oil too but my hair usually responds well to any kind of oil because of how dry it is.
This bottle seems pretty small for the price considering the fact that you could probably get a bottle of pure Argan oil that’s of the same size for a cheaper price but this little bottle will certainly last awhile because you don’t need a lot of product when applying it to just your face, chest, and neck. When applying it elsewhere I can see this being used up fairly quickly because you’d need more than just 5-6 drops for other areas. So because of this I think I will be buying some cheaper Argan oil for my hair because I can see myself going through this way too quickly when using it to moisturize my hair along with my face. I may repurchase this one to use on my face since it would last much longer so I can justify the price that way and plus I just love the packaging,
I really love how this oil makes my skin look and feel after using it for about a month. I’m liking Kahina Giving Beauty so far and I’d love to try out some more from the brand but they are a bit on the pricey side and out of my price range right now but I really like this oil. Do any of you want to try out some of their products? If so, which ones? Have you tried their Argan oil? Let me know in the comments!
