Fall is here so that means oxblood everything! And I’m just so excited about darker lips and darker nails this season so I will be featuring tons of Fall worthy products on the blog in some of my upcoming posts, because Fall is one of my favorite seasons so definitely stay tuned for that. And along with this lovely nail polish shade below I have tons more coming up for us green girls out there so that we too can totally indulge in this seasons trends so definitely scroll down some more for all the juicy details on this perfect nail polish shade for Fall and also for a swatch!
Kure Bazaar’s Cherie is described as a “classic royal ruby red” and I would definitely say it leans more towards a ruby red in certain lighting but it definitely is the epitome of Fall trendiness because it can appear pretty dark in a good and pretty badass way. Let’s just say this color is reds much cooler cousin and would look awesome on everyone so I’ve been loving this on my nails lately.
This nail polish is a bit on the thick and gooey side so it can be pretty hard to work with if you start off by using a lot of product. I would suggest using thin coats to get to your desired color so that you don’t end up with a smudgy mess like I did my first go around. This nail polish dries super glossy so you can totally bypass a top coat if your running low on time but we all know why a top coat is essential so I’ll spare you the lecture This nail polish although 5-free still has the typical pretty irritating nail polish scent but this one is not as strong as your typical bottle of nail polish so it’s not entirely too bad.
I used two super thick coats, thus the warning about opting for thinner coats to spare you the mess, to get the really vampy nails you see in the swatch below. This polish loses its shine 2-3 days in without a top coat but I was able to get about 7 days of wear out of this nail polish even without a top or base coat so it is definitely very long wearing. Removal is also a breeze as you can just use regular nail polish remover to remove it although I am considering trying out my Scotch Naturals polish remover to see how that one works since it is a definitely a less toxic option.
I’m definitely in love with this shade and it’s really one of those shades that would compliment any one and I can’t wait to bring this to the salon with me this weekend for my biweekly pedicure! I can see this looking really nice on my toes too. I’m also super interested in trying out some more of Kure Bazaar’s nail polishes, have any of you tried this brand? Let me know in the comments below!
